Meet Lauren
I’m Lauren Haimelin Carter—an interior designer and artist based in the Hudson Valley. My work is guided by an artist’s eye. Color, proportion, texture, and composition are the foundation of my process.
Before launching LHC Interiors, I spent years working in Chelsea, NYC galleries, where I developed a deep understanding of fine art, presentation, and craft (including professional custom framing experience). That background shapes how I approach interiors today: with a strong respect for materials, a sensitivity to scale and balance, and a commitment to creating spaces that feel collected, intentional, and alive.
